drought, drought go away...

Well all started out great but this ensuing drought has significantly slowed things down in the garden. Luckily though we got a small downpour on the weekend and more rain is in the forecast for this evening so fingers crossed. Sadly the extreme heat and lack of water (though I have been regularly watering from the pond) has made it a very difficult season for me. The plants have slowed down and stunted. Also my cucumber beetle has now demolished my squash and has taken hold of many of my cucumber plants as well. My tomatoes, however, are coming along very nicely. I just finished mulching all my plants today so as to hold more moisture in the ground if
