tara and dean!

A few months back I received an email from my old high school bud, Tara. She was curious as to whether I could shoot her wedding. Of course I gave a big giant yes. Her and her, now husband, Dean flew from their home in New Zealand to have a small ceremony with Tara's family in Niagara Falls. I was so happy to be part of this day. Congrats Tara and Dean!

laura and ryan!

I have to say, Laura and Ryan were a super cute couple to shoot. I don't think there was a single moment in the day where Laura was without a wonderful happy smile on. We managed to skirt around all the wine marathon road closures and beat out the rain (just in time) for our photo shoot at the Comfort Maple. Canada's oldest sugar maple. With Laura's maiden name being Comfort the tree held great significance as a backdrop for our photos. Congrats Laura and Ryan!

"Live simple so others can simply live…" Ghandi

”The world provides enough to satisfy everyman’s need, but not everyman’s greed.” Ghandi

“Only after the last tree has been cut down” Only after the last fish has been caught Only after the last river has been poisoned Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten– Cree Native American saying–

Chief Seattle said, “This we know. The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of the earth. Man does not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”
