farming!!!!

I love it! What an incredible way to spend the summer. It's only been two weeks and I've learned so much already. My living quarters are an awesome old tent trailer. We (us 4 interns) have an incredible outdoor kitchen and the most amazing supply of fresh veggies, home raised beef, chicken and pork and of course fresh milk and cream for morning cereal (hand milked by yours truly on a semi daily basis)

lettuce seedlings

Andrea's new home...the silo!

Trish, our milking cow

Lunch break with the team
Jocelynn and her first batch of freshly baked bread (it was delicious)
broccoli in the hoop house
building a platform for the new intern quarters (to be occupied by David)
my dirties
barefoot gardening...yes please

David stale bedding
Double dug beds filled with broccoli
Trip to the falls after a hard hot sunny day of shoveling manure. (much needed)
